Mr. Ashwin Somaiah K.P (II Sem, B.E Telecom) of T. John Institute of Technology, has been selected as a member of the VTU Hockey team during "Hockey Selections Trials" which was held on May 6−9, 2011 at R.L. Jalappa Institute of Technology. A total of 172 players had participated for this event. Out of 172 only 16 participants were selected and Ashwin was one of them. With this achievement he has made not only himself but also his parents, his college and his friends very proud. The Principal, Management, Staff, Students and Dept. of Physical Education congratulate Mr. Ashwin Somaiah for his outstanding and gigantic performance. All the very best to him and his team!.
