The Civil Engineering Department of TJIT has organized a Guest Lecture on “RICS SCHOOL OF BUILT ENVIRONMENT, AMITY UNIVERSITY” on 20/03/2017  from 10.45 pm to 12:30 pm in Cad Lab( Room no – 331)  for 8th Sem Student, TJIT. The session was handled by Mrs. Monalisa from RICS AMITY team. It was a highly interactive session with light on built environment sector. Explanations and examples were given on how the real estate, infrastructure, management fields work together. The speaker emphasized on the emerging built environment sector and the demand of professionals. The advantages of joining RICS School of Built Environment for a postgraduate MBA program in real estate and urban infrastructure, construction project management, construction economics and quantity surveying or infrastructure management was put forward. Students were also asked about their plans after completion of their undergraduate courses. The session was worth the time as students could understand in detail about the programs which could well be a step towards reaching the prestigious member recognition at “The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors”.
